Picnic Shelter Renter Responsibilities

*The Town of Valdese has a no refund policy. We do not issue refunds for events outside of our control such as bad weather, illness, etc. By signing this agreement, you also understand that the park may be closed due to flooding, high water, maintenance, etc. If the gate is locked do not enter the park!*
1. Shelter reservation is for the time block that you have paid for (10 am-6 pm) on weekends only. Reservation is only for table use.
2. Shelter needs to be as clean as it was when you arrived. If you make a mess, it must be cleaned up before you leave. Leave no trace!
3. Please do not have anything that is going to create a huge mess that you will have difficulty cleaning up (glitter, smoke, balloons filled with confetti, etc.).
4. You must take any grill ashes away with you. Do not leave them on premises.
5. Bounce houses not permitted.
6. ABSOLUTELY NO SWIMMING ALLOWED anywhere in McGalliard Falls Park. There are signs.
7. The Town of Valdese has a no alcohol and no tobacco/vaping ordinance that applies to all town property. There is signage, and we do enforce this policy. Please leave alcohol and tobacco/vape products at home.
